The Affordable Care Act (ACA) will affect health insurance coverage for most Americans, including you and your employees. It will also have a considerable impact on the organization’s health insurance plan. As a supervisor, you must understand the basic requirements and benefits of the ACA, as well as the impact it will have so that you can work with Human Resources to make sure employees understand the provisions of the new law that affect them and so that you can answer basic questions employees are likely to ask.
